Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary in Your Neighborhood!
Join neighbors across the city in decorating homes, entryways, and neighborhoods to showcase community pride and patriotism by participating in a Patriotic Decorating Contest showcasing Fair Oaks Ranch Community Pride.
Saturday, June 27th (10am) Patriotic Parade Kick-Off (SPECTATORS)
Parade Route: Robin Dale/ Keeneland to Saratoga and ending at the parking lot of Cibolo Creek Community Church.
Patriotic Parade followed by celebrations to include: bouncy houses, music, Food Trucks on-site (food for purchase), and an awards presentation for best classic car and golf cart.
Please let us know if you plan on attending so we can estimate a headcount for the event.

All golf carts, classic cars & other special vehicle participants will use Venturer off of Keeneland Drive to Silver Spur to Robin Dale and check-in for the parade, while the Classic Cars participants will use that same route except they will turn on Intrepid to Robin Dale and park.
Walkers and families will walk on Keeneland to Robin Dale and line up at the front of the parade. Please arrive promptly with special notification card displayed to participate.
Individuals or Groups interested in participating in the parade, please click the link below to sign-up to include:
DECORATED PATRIOTIC golf carts, classic cars, bicycles, walkers, service providers/groups, local businesses (golf carts or classic cars), etc.
Parade packets will be picked up from June 24-25, 2026, from 4 PM - 6:30 PM at FORHA 7286 Dietz Elkhorn Rd, Fair Oaks Ranch, TX 78015

Honor the service and sacrifice of veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their family while recognizing Fair Oaks Ranch’s designation as a Purple Heart City.

FORHA is hosting a Trail Fun Run/Walk the morning of July 3 on Cibolo Trail, one of the beautiful FORHA trails that run throughout the city.
The event will start and end at Cibolo Creek Community Church. Distance choices available include a 5K fun run/walk and a family 1 mile walk.

Calling All Young Writers and Artists Living in Fair Oaks Ranch! Share Your Thoughts on Our Nation's History, Freedoms, and Future Through a Short Essay or Patriotic Artwork.
Who Can Enter?
- Elementary: Grades 3–5
- Middle School: Grades 6–8
- High School: Grades 9–12
- Homeschooled: Grades 3-12

- Submissions must be entirely the original work of the participant. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools for generating or assisting with artwork is not allowed.

- Middle School: 300–500 Words
- High School: 400–600 Words
- Typed or Neatly Handwritten
- Include Your Name, Address, Grade, School, or Home Schooled

TIMELINE & RULES
Contest Timeline:
- Must register on SignUpGenius (button below) to be entered into the contest
- Decorating Period: May 14 (Armed Forces Day) -June 15, 2026
- Judging Dates: June 16-June 24, 2026
Guidelines:
- Decorations must be visible from the street
- No decorations shall be placed within six (6) feet of the street right-of-way
- Pictures of the decorations must be submitted to Fairoaksranchtxevents@gmail.com by June 15, 2026
- Must follow HOA safety guidelines
- No political messaging—focus on patriotism and national pride
- No AI technology used for submission to the website
- Judges will be driving by the house or neighborhood for viewing of the entries
- If you live in a gated community, please provide a gate code or text your code to-------
